Was born in 1985 and has been working in engineering field for over 15 years since 2002, until destiny introduced freediving into his path in 2019. Inspired and motivated by what he had discovered with a breath-hold diving, the new world underneath.
Deep Finder was then established in early 2020 as a freediving handcrafted fins and community for Thai freedivers. The aim is to bring together people who passionate about freediving. Later in 2022 and 2023 he has become freediving and yoga instructor accordingly.
Deep Finder is the place where you can find your deep, not specifically only the ocean depth but also the deep in your mind, the deep in your passion, the deep in your soul. Let’s go with your own deep.

An ocean lover who found freediving a way to replenish one’s energy, unlock one’s true potentials and comprehend one’s mindfulness. Started freediving in 2019 and never been away from the water since then. A core engine that helps pushing and growing Deep Finder Business and its core values.
To her, Deep Finder is the place where we can get inspired by the people who passionate about freediving and at the same time, we also inspire others. It’s a loop of good energy and vibe, and it could only be found here, at Deep Finder.

“An engineer who never favors the works in the field”
why is that ? let me tell you my story been addicted to travelling and meeting new friends. I moved from place to place, trying this and that. It’s been like that until freediving got my attention in 2019. I was surprised there’s such a thing called breath-hold diving and what this can bring is the whole new adventure, I just fell in love.
I got pretty good background of water skills ( glad to my childhood , I was living by the river). I started to be able to point out mistakes while diving with friends and I was happy doing so and see people have their skills improved.
I decided to turn myself into freediving instructor after 8 months after exploring it. . . and the story after that . . I guess you know 🙂

“Being and “instructor”? . .the idea has never crossed my mind.”
I’ve spent most of my time miles above the sea level. The sky, clouds and the sun are the view I know to appreciate with. Freediving and its interesting stories have been told from a friend and I decided to try and see if the stories are true. Freediving is like a whole new level of adventures. It had me opened up my mind and accepted new challenges, people, lifestyle, happiness, joy, fun and most remarkable discovery , a family “DEEP FINDER”
Deep Finder is a joyful lovely community. These people are incredible when they revel their passions toward freediving. (You all should come and feel it yourself. I just can’t express them all)

My name is Maprang, though most know me as ‘Mapung.’ I started out as a musician but now work as a TV host on Amarin TV.
My journey into freediving began with a common goal (I guess) : for underwater photos. However, I quickly realized I wasn’t a natural diver. It took me two years to complete the SSI Freedive Level 1 program, a journey that would have discouraged many. Yet, this challenge led me to discover the depths of my own mind.
Now, nothing can deter me underwater, and I aim to inspire others to explore their own ‘deep’. Freediving, much like music, teaches us that ‘practice makes perfect.’ So, what’s stopping you from diving into the water?

🌊 From Fear to Freediving 💙
I used to be terrified of water—I couldn’t swim, and just stepping into the sea made me anxious. But I loved animals and dreamed of seeing them in their natural habitat.
🐢 A trip changed everything. I had the chance to see sea turtles up close, but I had to dive. My heart pounded—fear and excitement clashed. I wanted to see them, but I was terrified of drowning.
💭 I almost gave up, but I chose to try again.
I kept searching for the right training, and with the help of a great instructor, I slowly built confidence. Step by step, I overcame my fear.
🚀 Now, I’m a Freediving Instructor.
From someone afraid of water to someone who thrives in it, I now help others overcome their fears and discover the beauty of the deep.

From a girl who was raised by a family who loves to spend most of their vacation time by the beach every once in a while , growing up to be a person who always feel calm and peaceful when surrounded by water.
My name is Sky
And I’ve always been in love with the ocean since I can remember. The ocean wildlife and how nature works in their own fascinating way beneath the depth is really attracting me to discover more of how to stay longer underwater and enjoy this beauty with my body unattached to any life jackets.
That’s when I start researching about “ Freediving “
It didn’t took me so long to have my first basic course and fall in love with it head over heels.
For me, Freediving is not just an activity or sport—or not just about how many meters of depth you can go..but a way to search deep into your mind , body and spirit in a whole new way more than you could have ever imagined. To overcome your suspicion. To find your peace of mind and to find the humbleness among the deep blue sea.
With this strong affection which keeps me around with Freediving over the years and over many dive sites,
Finally it led me to join an excited path with DeepFinder Team, A lovely and fun community where we share the same passion through the art of Freediving.
Now, I start my new journey with a new role as Freediving instructor and I would like to share and pass on this passion with all of you who want to discover more about the ocean ,

Deep Finder as a Corporate and a Travel Agency
2024 is the year we have grown huge. Deep Finder is now collaborating with our partners, hotels, diving agencies, shops, etc, as a company. We continues looking for more opportunuties to collaoborate with new potential partners.

Dive Center and Conitnued Freediving Education
We have made Deep Finder as a Dive Center and combined Yoga with our Teaching.
